Mark Nathan is a physiotherapist in Wynberg, Cape Town.


After completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, Mark moved to Cape Town and attended the prestigious University of Cape Town, where he received his Honours Degree, as well as his Master’s Degree in Sport Sciences.

He went into Private Practice in 1987 as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, with a keen interest in sports physiotherapy and orthopaedics. He had the opportunity to work with elite athletes during this time, including the Western Province Cricket Team from 1989 till 1996.


Mark Nathan has also worked at major sporting events, such as the Commonwealth Games in 1994, the Olympic Games in 1996 and has worked with Bafana Bafana at every Fifa World Cup event between 1998 and 2002.

Mark currently runs his own successful Physiotherapy practice, based at the new Wynberg Boys’ High School Gym Facility in Cape Town. He and his team specialize in Sports Physiotherapy and the treatment of Orthopaedic Conditions.
